Saudi Arabia’s Recent Executions a War Provocation Towards Iran – Dr. Saad Al-Faqih

TRANSCRIPT:

[Dr. Saad Al-Faqih]: The execution of the 37 people raises questions. Why all of these at once? Why 12 from the Shiite sect– sorry, 32 from the Shiite sect and the rest, only a few, from the Sunnis? Why now? And also, why these people, since they were not supposed to be executed, but then a decision was made to execute them? What’s new about the situation which ended up with them being executed according to the supposed court sentences? There must be an explanation for all of this. The explanation is that their executions had nothing to do with court decisions. There is nothing that warranted these death sentences, whether under Islamic law, or or man-made laws, or even according to the standards of the Al-Sauds, i.e., whether it be in line with security considerations, or authoritarian considerations, or whichever considerations.

Silence of the Sheikhs (Al-Fawzan and the Like): Fear or Treason?

TRANSCRIPT:

[Dr. Saad Al-Faqih]: Is the silence of scholars like Sheikh Salih Al-Fawzan out of fear for themselves, or is it because they want to prevent the repercussions that could result from them speaking out? It’s neither this one or that one. Their silence– it’s not even silence. By the way, the question is wrong. It’s not that they remain silent, but they speak falsehood. That man defends an enemy of Islam. He defends a traitor. He defends a liar. He defends a hypocrite. He defends someone who throws reformers in prison, and someone who commits every evil act, oppression and tyranny, which are forbidden in Islam.

Mohammed Bin Salman is terrified of Erdogan – Dr. Saad Al-Faqih

TRANSCRIPT:

[Dr. Saad Al-Faqih:] A lot of people have commented on Turkey’s statements about Khashoggi, but the beautiful thing about this, which I would like to add is that when Erdogan stated that the Crown Prince (of Saudi Arabia) and the Foreign Minister and the Saudi officials are all lying, and that they never told anything true at all, and that all their statements are lies, this is a provocation. True, it has not reached the level of incriminating Mohammed Bin Salman, but just this statement is a provocation towards MBS, and not a mild provocation. It’s a major provocation.
